As a therapist, I strive to support you while working with you to improve your emotional and mental well being, relationships and quality of life. I believe the most important piece to therapy is the relationship you have with your therapist. My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space to help you achieve your personal goals and overcome barriers to living the life you want. You are the expert, and I want you to feel empowered to make the changes you decide are best for you.
I tend to be very conversational in my style and utilize a mixture of therapy styles tailored to your specific needs. I specialize in anxiety, depression, post-partum anxiety/depression, trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, ADHD and self-esteem issues. My therapeutic approaches include cognitive behavioral, trauma informed, mindful self-compassion and solution focused (as well as some DBT). I have over 10 years of experience as a mental health therapist and over 15 years in the social work field. I hope to meet you soon!
