As a Licensed Master Social Worker, Katie has over 16 of experience in addictions, trauma, human trafficking, abuse, and other mental health concerns. Katie also holds the following certificates: Certified Advance Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Clinically Certified Human Trafficking Victim Services Provider. In addition, she has years of experience in community education and as an affiliated Clinical Faculty at Grand Valley State University. Katie is a survivor and has a passion working with individuals of all gender and sexual identities who are current and former sex industry Workers. Her specialty is working with teens and adults with behavioral, mental health, relationship, trauma and substance abuse concerns. Katie desires to provide a safe, private, and confidential environment where an individual is free to express their choices for counseling with unbiased consultation.
