“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” – BrenĂ© Brown
Hello. I’m glad you are here. I believe that you are worthy of being seen, heard, and known.
Life can be hard. It is ever-changing and can be unpredictable, yet other times it can feel stagnant and mundane. Whether you’re starting a new chapter in life, going through a difficult transition, feeling overwhelmed, feeling lost, feeling disconnected from yourself and/or others, or simply trying to be proactive about your mental and emotional health, it would be a privilege to walk alongside you on your therapeutic journey. As a therapist, it is my goal to cultivate a safe atmosphere that allows you space to explore, process, and grow into living the restored and whole life you were made for.
Over the past twelve years, I have worked with an array of client populations with most of that time being focused on crisis counseling. I have experience working with those struggling with difficult life transitions, self-worth, generalized anxiety and depression. I am trained in different treatment modalities and orient from strengths-based and client-centered focus to fit your individual needs. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey thus it is imperative that clients are included in the process of both goal setting and treatment planning.
I received my master’s in Social Work from Grand Valley State University in 2010. I maintain my clinical license and am currently seeing clients both in person and virtually.
